Casio Key
Does the CASIO CT-X5000 have the same sound quality of the same tones as the CASIO PX-S3000?
Brad Saucier
The PX-S3000 is more advanced. It uses the second generation AiR sound engine. This means the piano tones are much more advanced and varied. Rightly so, since it's a Privia digital piano. Piano based tones move to a more sophisticated hybrid sampling and modelling system with string and damper resonance, and damper pedal effects. The action has more sophisticated response characteristics, with the smart graded hammer action, high resolution velocity, and key off velocity response. Everything is geared towards a much more realistic piano playing experience and sound. Tones outside of piano based instruments will be similar if not the same as the CT-X5000.
