Paul J
I am trying to store the factory presets in the registration....mostly for quick access while playing live....it seems the manual wants you to add the rhythm track and other parameters....I don't want to change the presets....just store them
jeffn1
First, I don't think there are nearly enough Registration slots to save all the presets. I think there are 96 Registration slots. (I once posted a suggestion that Casio expand the available Registration slots at least ten-fold in future synths). But, if you save a preset in a Registration slot, you can save it with the rhythm, accompaniment, etc turned off. (I have about 1/2 of my Registration slots filled and I do not use rhythms/accompaniment). Jeff
qcmv22
Good answer, How do you turned off the rhythm, accompaniment.... I cannot save a Preset edit with a SPLIT on the preset USER so I use the Registration... But the accompaniment saving is really a problem... jeffn1
In the display window, it shows whether there is an intro and accompaniment (I think those are the two). I just push the button for intro to turn it off and the button to turn off the accompaniment. Then I save the preset as a Registration following the steps in the manual. I hope that helps. (I am not the most advanced in this, but I try to muddle my way through). Jeff Edited January 19, 2022 by jeffn1
Paul J
Jeff, I can't turn off the rhythm either....I hate manuals....they never seem to be very intuitive. Well, I might've just figured it out....on pg e-67 Edited January 19, 2022 by Paul J
Brad Saucier
Press the accompaniment on/off button to disable accompaniment chord detection.
qcmv22
Thanks jeffn1, OK did not know that the registration would have save the operation you just mention... ok push intro, Accomp on/off then save the preset.
