Hi John, welcome to the Casio community!

 

Did you mean best Amplifier for CT-X5000. I would suggest you any stereo amplifier. I have Adam T8V, PreSonus Eris E8 XT, M Audio BX8D3, Krk Rookit 8 monitor speakers. 

 

I mean a mixer which is connected to "Active" speakers (Left and Right) would be the best option. 

 

While there are many issues with Passive speakers. You have to connect to mixer then an amp then speaker.

What are you going to use it for? LIstening/monitoring at home for practicing, or recording? Rehearsal bands only inside homes, small rehearsal areas? Playing out on gigs live? Large venue, small venue, both? With a band, or as a soloist for busking on the street? This is such a general question, hard to answer without more info. I have a variety of amps/sound systems I can use, depending upon situation.
