bob4
Hi, this is bob and I have a ctx5000, and is there a way to adjust the touch response for the keys? I'm not sure if I'm wording this right, but I guess what I'm trying to ask is when you touch a key, is there a way to make the touch on the key more sensitive to get louder volume so that you don't have to tap hard on the keys to get a louder sound? I guess this would be increasing the sensitivity of the keys by some adjustment of some sort? Maybe it's called a key touch sensitivity setting? Mclandy
Yes, it's called Touch Response. See the manual on page EN-29. You get to the setting by pressing the Function key, then the Left/Right (1 and 3) number keys until you see "Touch", then the +/- keys to change the sensitivity setting (then press the Exit/4 button to exit settings). Note that the Touch Response setting is one of the values that gets saved as part of a Registration. Jurgen Sand
ok, I understand how to change the Touch Response as a function setting. But, every time I switch on my CT-X5000, the parameter has the old value (3) and not my new setting. How to store the value permanently? Brad Saucier
Turn on auto resume to store settings during power off, found in the function menu, sub menu "other".
