Juzt let me know, coz searched on handbook but cant find the Renaming procedure and just found "insert a character", but obviouslyn it was’peant for Tone’s Naming..l

You can name the file during the process of saving it to USB flash drive, after pressing save in the media menu and selecting the type of data and corresponding recording.

Yes, after a second deep reading i saw that, through MEDIA, Savingnto Flash. Thanks to recall le that !

But, when u save it by renaming song on the USB Flash, does it also Rename it on the Casio keyboard as well ?

The display name on the keyboard is different.  I don't know of a way to change that.

Yes and after testing it, i think’i know the Reason.

Actually, i think that the RecordName is by Default in the keyboard’s display, so it wont "change", because all modifications (MEDIA) are operated on the USB FlashDrive.

So, the only way to get that renamed’song is, to just LOAD that "renamed Song",and it be saved on Keyboard as a New File (from 11 to 40). But im not really sure’if it will be reolaced to MLtRec01.

Beyond that, i think all MltRec01...10 will always stay there Unchanged

Therefore, u can only Delete MltRec01 and create a New Song

And thats what i want to do !

The file on your flash drive will be named "New01" plus the file extension.

Yes, thanks Brad.

So’ yes, both the original file extension and that Renamed New01.

Other point DataFull appeared quite often lately, thought it was the Usb Flash issue, but apparently not,’coz its the Recorded Files extension got saturated.

Am i right ?

Since, i clear/delete one of them, DataFull disappears.

But does the USB Flash can also overfill/saturate by showing up DataFull or it doesnt have any link with that ?

The "ErrDataFull" message indicates that the built-in storage (memory) for songs (or User Rhythm or User Tones) is full, which just means that before you can save another one, you will need to delete one or more to "make room" for the new one.  Deleting songs from built-in storage does not affect what is on the USB drive, so save any that you want to keep onto the USB drive before deleting them from memory.  That way you can re-load them later.

Yes thanks

Just saw Data Full but didnt see "Err" in front of that

Anyway, yes sure, to save before delete, thatss what i do, but the catch was if u delete the inbuilt so’g, it doesnt delete also USB

However, thanks to ur words even if its somehow "repeat" for u and me, but 2 brains isnalways better than one for me, so i can learn more efficiently and wont forget.

So far’so good, its ok now with my subject, thanks Maclandy, i really do appreciate your time and effort w me, coz i might be "difficult" but if it was, it wasnt my volontary purpose, but juzt trying to deeply understand while not staying as an idiot without asking things...im always’trying my best, juzt be aware of this...thanks
