Katie
This is the best I've been able to achieve on the PX so for. It's called Take00 cause I don't know how to name the damn file YET. Still working on it.What ya-all think? https://soundcloud.com/sweebee/take00wav
Brad Saucier
It's called Take00 cause I don't know how to name the damn file YET. This is by far the most LOL comment on this entire site. Colorful statement. I'm still laughing ol. BTW...Sounds good. and BTW....the files have to be named TAKExx in order for the PX to recognize them. There is no naming option on the board. But. that doesn't stop you from renaming the file on the computer.
Ebonivor
I like it a lot....are you going to upload the setting?
MaliceCooper
I just had a listen to your organ and string patches, liked them both especially the strings.
Display Name
Very nice. Please upload the Stage Setting!
Katie
Hey Scott: I will upload my stage settings after I complete editing. My string program still sounds a little too analog to my ears. It needs to have more attack and string realism. I've only had the PX for a few weeks, still trying to get my head around the GUI. The editor really helped, but not ALL of the settings can be modified in the editor so I'm have a bit of a time trying to get the sound I'm looking for. It would be real nice if I could just insert Tones into Hexlayers, but sadly in Hexlayers you can only use the supplied samples. Oh well. Back to work. kgaetano
Katie, I agree with the others - very nice & usable string sound. I like your organ sound from the other post as well. Are these in response to the thread where someone said the PX-5S didn't have any good string or organ sounds? I guess I'm not a expert at this point but they both sound very good to me. Ebonivor
Katie, you could always upload it as it is now (pleeease!) and upload a Version 2 when you are 100% happy with it yourself.
Katie
Okay. This is probably as close as I'm going to get without really digging deeper. Here is another audio example of my latest attempt. I uploaded the file. It's called -- what else -- "Kates String". Enjoy. https://soundcloud.com/sweebee/kates-strings

Ebonivor
Katie, thanks for uploading this. I love it! I've just used it to replace my attempt at constructing a better string sound in a recording I'm currently producing and it is just perfect. Just what I was looking for and so rich!! Well done.
