SonnyDaye
Any ideas how well the Vestax PAD-One USB MIDI Pad Controller would interact with the PX-5s?Will the PX be able to power it via USB? Just wondering if this would be a good choice to trigger various things on the PX.Thanks for any tips and any experience anyone has had with this unit! Brad Saucier
You would need to use the standard midi din connection for direct control of the px. A usb connection would need a host device since the px cannot act as it's own host. Also, the front usb port on the px does supply power but not sure about the rear. The manual says not to plug anything beyond a thumb drive in the front for risk of malfunction.

Display Name
You may want to look at the Atruria BeatStep as well. It is the same price and has the pads.. also has a step-sequencer that would be awesome to use with the PX-5S.. would make give it some of the functionality of an XW!
