BrianH
Hi Anyone having above problem, i.e intermittent working? If so, how have you fixed it?. Cheers BrianH
Brad Saucier
The button is designed to be held down for a moment before it will power off. This helps prevent accidental shutdown. Is this what you are referring to?
BrianH
Hi Brad Sometimes wont switch on, sometimes wont switch off, sometimes switches off then straight on again. All this is intermittent. Cheers BrianH
Brad Saucier
Do you have a local music store with a PX-5s? Maybe you could try another one for comparison. The button does require a certain technique to use. It's a feature and not a flaw. If your PX is in need of repair, your local Casio service center can help. http://www.support.casio-europe.com/euro/repair/emi/
Display Name
Sounds like you may have a bad contact under the button. You may want to try a can-o-air and blow down there, but it is pretty tight so it would probably be a Hail Mary. Best get it looked at.
