Jokeyman123
Working alot lately with editing hex layers, and I've discovered a bit of a problem. When I am editing, the PX-560 sometimes seems to crash, or at least hesitiate before i can go to the next step in my editing process. So far, if I wait for 10-15 seconds, it iwll restore itself and I can continue editing and saving my work. Has anyone else experienced this? I am using ver. 1.15 of the updates. Otherwise every other function is working well.
Brad Saucier
Do you have more than one tone being edited at the same time? For example, are you editing upper 1 while upper 2 shows an exclamation ! next to the tone name?
Jokeyman123
Will have to check that. I always access edit from tone 1.
Jokeyman123
No exclamation mark anywhere, I am always editing starting with a single layer in hex mode, that is with a user hex layer selected. I have been pushing the envelope, no pun intended, playing alot with envelope settings and the LFOs. While I'm posting here, what is the USB icon for-in the upper right hand corner of the hex layer edit screen? Does this simply indicate htat I have my thumb drive connected? Brad Saucier
Yes. It means a thumb drive is successfully mounted.
Jokeyman123
I re-titled this topic, as it is not accurate to describe it as a "bug". Might just be some lag in cpu porcessing my editing, will wait to hear from the experts. I do not have much in user memory for sounds, registrations, or midi arrangements, so I do not think this isa memory storage problem.
