My First Casio Keyboard

I believe I may have described my PX-S3000 as my first electronic keyboard in another topic in this forum.  But then my memory kicked in and I recalled buying another keyboard many years ago.  I think it was around 1980.  And, sure enough, I still had it tucked away in a closet.

 

This was my first Casio keyboard:

Needless to say,  I am much happier with my PX-S3000, and don't expect to forget about it in a closet for 40 years 🙂

At about the same time I also got my first keyboard: the Casio VL-10. I believe it could have been the smallest electronic keyboard ever, I wished I still had it because with its 100-notes sequencer it was a useful musical notepad. Unfortunately, someone stole it from me in my room at college. Nice little piece of gear.

My first is also a Casio VL-1 (got it for Xmas 1982). Here's a picture of it with my second keyboard, a Casio CZ 101 that I purchased used in 1990. Still have both, and plan to still use both!

My first keyboard was also a Casio, the CZ-3000. I gave it away to a friend's girlfriend's kid when I moved.

First Casio I ever OWNED was the Casio PT1 cream color with violet sharps and flats keys. The first Casio I ever borrowed before that was the MT11 which was also the first keyboard I EVER recorded myself playing and singing with.
