sustain midi PX - 350M not picked up with logic

Are you saying that sustain is not being recorded into your DAW's midi recordings? Or that logic is cancelling out the sustain function for the PX350 as you play it?

According to my PX350 midi implementation chart and manual-sustain is sent and received by midi (called sostenuto in the manuals). I'll double-check my PX350-never noticed if this works with my Daws, i see no reason why it shouldn't, but that might not mean anything! There is no function I know of from within the PX350 that would stop this from working. Sostenuto uses control change #66, so it should work. I know of no setting in Logic that would block this either. if you are using a sustain pedal connected to the PX350 and Logic-and trying to send the sustain to another keyboard connected to the computer-not sure of that, as you would have to make sure Logic is set to midi "thru" for its midi ports/setup, and that the other keyboard uses CC 66 to respnd to sustain-i'd have to look it up, but i would think CC 66 is standard fora ll midi keyboards, but that may not be true either.

Looks like Logic wants CC #64 for sustain-and the PX350 is sending it on CC 66. There's the problem. Nikos, you need to see if you can reconfigure Logic to receive sustain as control change number 66. I don't have it in front of me, so I'm not sure this can be done. If it can, this will solve your problem i think.
