AEHSMU
Is it possible to assign, say, Chorus to an EP on the Upper portion of a split and no Chorus to a Bass in the Lower portion? I can't seem to find a way to make this happen. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. -- Eric H. Brad Saucier
Sure, you can go to the mixer and adjust chorus send level for each part. You'll need to be in mixer port A, parts 1-4, which corresponds to upper 1/2, lower 1/2. This can be saved to a registration.
AEHSMU
Thanks, Brad! That's exactly what I needed to know. Never played with the Mixer. All the best! -- Eric H. --
AEHSMU
One more wrinkle, Brad. I have K1 controller set to adjust the Chorus depth. When I select the registration, the bass split without Chorus works. However, if I adjust Chorus with K1, the bass also is chorused. Must be missing something in my programming. Thanks again. -- Eric H. --
Brad Saucier
Go into controller settings, edit K1 and disable it for the lower part.
AEHSMU
And there it is. Wow, thanks for this. -- Eric H. --
AndrewL
I think you can also try editing the bass tone, and reducing the Chorus Send value.
Brad Saucier
Yes, and save it as a user tone. That is another way to do it, especially if you always want a particular tone to have a certain effects level.
AEHSMU
I did create a new User Tone and reassigned it to all the patches based on the split. The most important trick ya'll taught me was enabling / disabling the controllers for the different layers. Thanks again! -- Eric H. --
