Migueljdc
Have a strange issue with the PXS3000. All of a sudden the keyboard does not sound any tone, however in accompaniment mode the chords sound right, but no sound from the right part of the keyboard. Also on switching to DUET mode all the keys play all tones as they should. Anyone faced such issue? If so how was it resolved? I did factory reset a couple of times without any result. Brad Saucier
That is odd. A factory reset should have solved it. Are you sure the reset procedure completed successfully?
Migueljdc
Yes I did. Also unplugged everything from the instrument. Waited for a minute and did a factory reset. Casio says it could be a virus from the pendrive, which I used more than a fortnight only to record. Let's see what they are going to do about it. Fortunately still under warranty. Joe Muscara
That is odd. Good luck getting it fixed or whatever.
Jokeyman123
A virus, in a keyboard? That's new to me, I did not think that was possible-Caio isn't using an operating system designed like Windows AFAIK, I can't imagine a hacker designing a virus to attack a Casio keyboard, but I guess anything is possible although more possible-a malfunction of the thumb drive MIGHT cause this temporarily but if you've recorded successfully with it, I doubt that. Who told you that? The PX3000 runs on batteries too. Take them out, wait a few minutes and try starting it up again, if you haven't already tried that too. To be clear, the PX-S3000 has two different reset procedures, one called "factory reset", and another called "settings reset". Did you perform settings reset as well? I'd be curious to know who told you that. Are you connected to a computer via USB?
