Angelo5000
Hi, I have a Casio Privia PX-120 and the contact board a few keys are not working. I have tried some methods to get them to work with no results. I have been trying to find this part for this model and they have been discontinued. My question is Is this part can be compatible with other models like the px-330 or others?
Solution Brad Saucier Posted August 11, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 11, 2021 If parts used in other models are compatible, it would most likely be listed here on the PX-120 page. If you click on the part listing, it will bring up a page with a list of other models which use that part.
Angelo5000
I don't see the contact board on that list.
Brad Saucier
Unfortunately, if it is not on that list, you will likely need to look at the used market for parts.
Jokeyman123
Hello Brad-thanks for posting this link-wow a good one to save. I had missed this-definitely a good major source for Casio parts. and Angelo-you might need to try to find internal pictures of other Casios in the PX series-to see what the IC boards look like-and see if you can find a match to the 120 by visual inspection-and try to get that part-the keybed IC boards are tough to find-I know I've had to do this myself for older instruments. Cross-referencing is sometimes the only way to find a matching part.
Tonybee
Angeloo5000, Did you ever find a board for your PX-120? I have one and the kids spilled on keys and messed up the board. Thanks.
Tonybee
I did try Pacparts and the casiojunkyard sites but no luck.
