Miguelitokeys
I'm looking to buy a PX-560 and I realized that unlike the PX-5S, it doesn't have fades and fewer knobs. I have a midi controller just for fades and knobs, and I would like to know if there is a possibility that I can control the parameters of the Hex layers, and if my controller could serve as the fades that the PX-560 doesn't have and the knobs that are missing. I'm from Brazil. Sorry for my english, and thanks in advance!
Solution Mike Martin Posted March 28, 2022 Solution Share Posted March 28, 2022 You can control Hex Layer parameters via the 3 knobs on the PX-560. They can't be controlled from an external MIDI controller.
AndrewL
Plus you can also use the modulation wheel to control a 4th parameter, and even an expression pedal for a 5th one if necessary, if I'm not mistaken.
Jokeyman123
iI would look over the midi implementation doc for the PX560-if you understand the commands, you can find out what other PX560 settings you can control from an external midi controller. I have an Axiom 49-each control can be set to whatever control change i need it to-for each individual midi channel. might be worth experimenting with those midi implementation settings. Yes Andrew the expression pedal connection is programmable, I'll check later to see exactly which settings.
