yon911
is it possible for PX560 to have a firmware update like PX-5S?
swistak
This is my first post here, so I'd like to say hi to all members! Yes, PX560 provides a possibility to update firmware. You can find it in the system settings menu. However, as of now, there are no updates provided by Casio. PX560 is still a fresh product. Hopefully updates will appear at some point.

swistak
Just performed an update. Everything went fine. Contrary to what I thought, the user-created stuff and setting are actually untouched after the update.
SimoneCarini
To all of the Admins of the Casio forum and facebook (and to Casio!) Thank you! The update just filled the gaps as the needs expressed by the PX560 users!

Claire
When I go to the settings menu, I do not see any info category on any of the 3 pages. Where is the option to update or see your current firmware?
Brad Saucier
Hi Claire. You should be able to touch the system settings icon and find it on the last page. If it's not there, it sounds like you have another model instead of the PX-560. If this is happening on a PX-560, something odd is up. Let us know how it goes so we can figure it out. Gwen
I am trying to perform a firmware update from 1.0 to 1.1. After I downloaded the update to my computer I then transferred to a usb stick but when I inserted it into the px560 and hit execute I got a media load ERROR so was not able to complete the update. Any suggestions for what I am doing wrong. I noticed there was a list of activities about zip and unzipping the data and something about converting to Fat 32 . I wasn't able to figure that out but the download was successful from computer to USB stick . Not sure what to do next ??? :-(((
Brad Saucier
Make sure the computer downloaded and unzipped the file correctly. The full file name has to be exactly "update.bin". Make sure the computer is showing file extensions in order to confirm this. When adding the file to the thumb drive, do not place it in any sub-folders like MUSICDAT.
Zozon
USB flash drive must be formatted as FAT32!
Julian
We need firmware update to name registration settings, having to write them on paper is stupid
MattHarg
Does anyone know if the latest PX-560 firmware, as of 2017-03-29, is v 1.10 ? That's what the provided link http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=1263 reports. However, my newly purchased PX-560 is reporting 1.12 in the ^System Settings ^ Version section. I guess that would mean my only option is to downgrade to v. 1.10? Brad Saucier
Wait what? They are shipping updated units with 1.12? Wow.
Nifty560
Yes. My PX560MBE ordered March 10 came with v1.12 pre-loaded.
Brad Saucier
Well this is very odd. The latest downloadable firmware for the PX-560 is V1.10, not 1.12. I wonder what is going on here. Looks like they forgot to upload the last update to the support site.

Jokeyman123
An update about the update. Does anyone know what is being updated from version 1.12 (which I have) to 1.15-the version I just downloaded?I have a newer PX560 which came with 1.12 installed. Has anyone posted anything about this already here at our forum? Thanks.
