Mike Martin
Casio partnered with Music Player Network to put this piece together. We brought together Nashville's top session players at Ocean Way Studios for an intimate discussion about being a studio musician in Nashville. Stephen Fortner hosts a discussion with keyboardists Matt Rollings, Michael Whittaker, Steve Nathan, Charlie Judge, David Cohen, David Dorn. We'll see some playing (using a Privia PX-S3000) in a future episode. 3

Jokeyman123
Coincidentally with great series on PBS about country, bluegrass and blues. Not much in this Ken Burns series about keyboard players, but still great history, especially about the growth of Nashville Thank you Mike Martin for posting.
Brad Saucier
@Jokeyman123 I was thinking the same thing. An interesting Nashville tie-in to all of this is Floyd Cramer's grandson (Jason Coleman). Jason tours and is playing all of his grandfather's most popular songs like "Last Date". Jason can be seen in several YouTube videos playing one of the early portable Privia models. It was amazing being in the room with these guys. The next couple segments will be a little more challenging to edit unfortunately. Mr. Fortner forget his camera batteries so his camera didn't last very long. I forgot a USB drive to capture audio directly from the PX-S3000. So it was just captured with the room mic and I think we had some other audio issues. 🤯
