Brad Saucier
Yes, that was a direct result of this topic.... https://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/17395-very-weird-px560-foobar/
Brian H
It would be GREAT if Casio would tell us more about what has been changed/amended in a new version. "Improving certain operation" suggests to me that they don't value their users intelligence very much. How about it, Casio???
Brad Saucier
Follow the link I provided in the previous post. It was designed to correct that bug. "Improving certain operation" literally means bug correction... in other words, improving or ensuring certain/correct operation. The translation from Japanese probably has something to do with that way it reads in English.
kybdsammer
I posted this v1.16 firmware change response to my inquiry to Casio in the thread that Brad mentioned. Copied here for convenience. "We improved the drum sounds in the ver.1.16. There was unnatural shaking of this sound when it's recorded as MIDI." The thread has more details. Jokeyman123
If you look up these posts, and many others, you would see that Casio does value our intelligence. This update was a direct response to a rather unusual bug I discovered, that most musicians might not have even noticed, which when I posted a description, the response and firmware fix was sent here to this forum, and it works, it was my PX560. Seemed like a pretty intelligent response at least to me, and I'm pretty intelligent...... I know enough to get off the mothership to post this!!!
Luiz Neto
Casio, why the sequencer not works to send MIDI out? I wonder if I play a midi file to my external module from the PX560 midi out. Rythmn works! A 1.17 firmware update?
CharlieWorton
Well, I just hit 'spend' on the Amazon website to buy a brand new PX560; they claim it will get here by Friday, May 29th. I'm relieved to see that Casio technical support is still actively supporting this keyboard. >Charlie
Marsi Carr
Hello all, I would like to know if there's a way for the Casio 560 to save the volume settings in a midi file. I have not had much luck and done work arounds. Any help would be much appreciated, Marsi
