shep
Hi All, in the registration mode with split selected it is possible by touching "function" to scroll through and select the left hand tones. I would like to do this for the right hand tones, is this possible and if so how? In anticipation ....thanks ...shep
Rod Tompkins
Hi, Shep. You will need to use the Chordana Play for Piano app to change the Upper 1 & 2 sounds while Split is engaged. Upper 1 sounds can't be changed from the instrument panel unless split and layer are both off. Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear. shep
Hi Rod, yes, not what I wanted to hear, I'm using the usb port to send signals to another midi instrument and cannot use Chordana at the same time....thanks for your input...shep
Gartro
The other complication there is that you have to have internet/wi-fi for Chordana. "On the fly" may suggest you are on gigs, and Chordana would be a wild card.

Rod Tompkins
As Brad said, Chordana requires no internet, just the cable between the device and the keyboard. I use an old iPhone 6 as my dedicated Chordana controller. I usually have its wi-fi turned off and there isn't a sim card installed, so no cellular data either. I get around the PX-S3000 panel pretty well now, but still the app really speeds things up for creating registrations.
Gartro
I guess the problem I had was that Chordana Play For Piano was a Cloud program on my Lenovo Android Tablet -- So at work (a music room in the basement) I couldn't get access to the program itself. I probably could have gotten it on my phone with cellular data though.
