Hawaii Dave
My Casio Privia PX-560M keyboard keeps starting back up by itself a minute or so after I turn it off. I have to disconnect the AC to keep it from doing that...any ideas? Edited August 19, 2020 by Hawaii Dave misspelling
Brad Saucier
Hi Dave. Did this start happening recently?
Jokeyman123
Whew!!! Let me know how this works out-never heard this one before-only concerned as i have a PX560 now for about 2 years or so. That's a tough one! Sure hope it's something simple-like a stuck or dirty on/off button-but doesn't seem like that to me. sounds like the OS is stuck in a loop-like a computer that will not shut down-Windows had that problem alot in the past. Was a software problem. Is it a new PX560? Maybe the thumb drive is causing this, if you have one inserted. Long shot but it's possible. Hawaii Dave
I've had the keyboard for a couple years and it just started doing that right out of the blue. I tried spraying some CRC QD Electronic Contact Cleaner into the on/off button switch but it didn't change things.
Brad Saucier
PX-560's are covered by a 3 year warranty. You may be covered to have this repaired.
AndrewL
I think the first thing to determine is whether it's a physical issue with the button or something software related (I'd say the former). You could try placing the keyboard upside down to see if it's a physical issue. BTW, I guess this could be moved to the PX560 section. 😇
