Jimmy Keys
I have very recently purchased the Casio Privia Pro PX-560 and as much as I love the keyboard it keeps distorting especially in the middle of the keyboard? When this happens I turn off the keyboard & then turn it back on but the distortion is still there? This actually happened the first time I used it at a live gig, obviously this is very worrying as I perform a one man show. has anyone else experienced this problem? I am going to have to return it if this keeps occurring, it’s not my speakers or cables. thanks fir any comments & help. Jimmy Keys
Brad Saucier
Are you saying this is happening through external speakers?
AndrewL
That sounds strange (no pun intended). In line with what Brad said, does it happen with the internal speakers or headphones, using the default piano without any kind of effects? Does it happen at any volume? Is this distortion like a waveform clipping?
Fonfs
Sorry to ask, but is the modulation wheel all set to down?
Jokeyman123
I can make the middle keys distort through a sound system if I push the midrange EQ all the way up. The distortion is from the sound system being overdriven, not the PX560 though. Never experienced anything like this inherently from the PX560 sound engine. Upload a soundfile-m4a, mp3. always more helpful with a problem like this.
